Hi, I'm David R. Fajardo

Most of my work is invisible from the outside. As System Specialist at Perez Ventures Group of Companies, I own the software the business runs on: the ERP that ties accounting to inventory and logistics, the HRIS the staff log into every morning, the internal platforms nobody outside the company will ever see. It's not glamorous work, but it's the work that matters most when it breaks.

That job taught me something the tutorials skip: shipping is the easy part. A system earns its keep over the years it's used, by people who didn't choose it and won't read a manual. So I spend as much time sitting with the team that will use a thing as I do building it.

The freelance side keeps me honest in a different way. Clients like the vet clinic behind Golden Paws or the contractor behind Carpenter Mike don't care about my stack — they care whether the thing works on the phone in their hand. Owning the whole path, from the first conversation to the support call six months later, makes it obvious very quickly which decisions were the right ones.
